This really sucks. Boogaard might be the most memorable player in the Wild's short history -- every time he was on the ice, the crowd would hold its breath and keep their eyes fixed on him, even more than they did for an electric scorer like Marian Gaborik. I'm personally not a big fan of fighting in hockey, but there was something amusing about Boogaard basically just being a hired goon. I also loved it when they would park him in front of the net on the PP even though he had no puck skills whatsoever.
