Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship Format
Preliminary Round - Best of seven legs (no tie-break)
First Round - Best of five sets
Second Round - Best of seven sets
Third Round - Best of seven sets
Quarter-Finals - Best of nine sets
Semi-Finals - Best of 11 sets
Final - Best of 13 sets
All sets are the best of five legs.
All matches using the sets format will have a tie-break situation in the deciding set only, where the final set must be won by two clear legs until the score in that final set reaches 5-5.
Should that situation occur, then a sudden-death leg will be played in which the players will throw for the bull to determine who throws first in the sudden-death leg
Have deleted the players that didnt win and are out, will add/delete as we go.
Just watched a replay of Whitlock. Pretty solid. Didn't watch a replay of Hamilton vs Smith because you guys told me it was horribad. TY in advance, even when the host says it was an average game, you know my pub darts would have gone close. I think they said that Smith missed 23 darts at doubles or something along those lines.
Not sure if I will watch tonight. The stars arent either that great or past it in the case of Part and the only non seed that really stands out is Sheppard who is actually a fill in for an Aussie who couldnt get a visa in Rob Modra. Games will probably go as planned.
Monday night looks pretty good, particularly if Alcinas can beat Wade again
Langerdang, I will take King vs Anderson in a small bet straight out should they get through to the third round vs each other.
