then a whole heap of people who could nip in with a final or a bink. not exactly unlikely - bunting binked for the first time in years on monday, dobey binked for the first time yesterday (after de sousa missed eight championship darts, which wouldn't have happened if i didn't have money on him to bink), then ross smith binked for the first time earlier. not exactly a weak field, suljovic isn't there but it's a full strength list of seeds after that

had a whole load of close runs on the each way punts so far - had dolan one off on monday, king one off on tuesday (50/1, 66/1, obviously the first day i don't have dolan today, he makes the final), then huybrechts/schindler/humphries all two off today, none of whom faced each other, all in the same half

Excited for tomorrow’s final between Dimi and Peter Wright. I got Dimi +1200 before the tournament began and I’ve already decided I’m not hedging. Probably a mistake though because I can’t see Peter losing lol. 18-14 Snakebite IMO

What happened?

He had covid for at least a month last year, not sure if he developed recurring lung issues because of that. I don’t know what other health issues he may have had, his Instagram feed might provide some clues. Suggestions it was ongoing health issues relating to diabetes, getting covid would not have helped someone in his condition.

He was known to have diabetes

Managed to get Searle for +230 when the book opened lines for this event. Already down to +145. Also got Ian +200, Mensur +125, and Luke -115. My futures bets are on Searle 80/1, Wade 28/1, Cullen 35/1, and Dolan 50/1. Will almost certainly go chalk and have Price or MVG win it, but **** it, worth a shot.
