Contenders is probably a bad idea. There was novelty last year, but I think it's probably gone now. It lead to the best moment in darts last year (at least my favorite moment, Hendo in Aberdeen forcing the tie against MVG), but otherwise I think they were 0-6-3 and would have been dead last in the table. Someone's going to take on Sherrock and her 80 avg and boat race her, which seems kind of unfair when you consider that everybody else will more than likely be playing against someone within the top 40 in the world. Would have been different if a couple of them had pinched a few wins.

If you get 3 years where they are always that bad it might be worth changing it but on the basis of one season it seems like that would be a rushed decision, especially when there really isn't anyone left out who has a realistic grievance about being left out

As a Dutchie I have to say that I didn't mind MvG losing to Wright. The man had a big title coming and he was the best player of the tournament.

Just seen some pictures from the BDO worlds. Oh wow, they haven't half ****ed that up.

Time for them to let the PDC buy them out.

Their social media game is bloody awful as well.
