His 19 and 18 darts were sick. What was his double % in the end?

A damn good 60% (21 out of 35 attempted).

Premier League line-up announced very soon.

They made the right choice and left them both out.

I think they've got the Premier League absolutely right, Whitlock's played like arse the last three months but he's got to a major final and was doing really well throughout the rest of the season, it's not like he's up and coming, he'll be 49 by the time he's done with this so if he goes down in flames it's not like it's damaging a career. Smith's only gone out to the world champion here and has won a European Tour event this year, and checks a lot of the boxes, Price is similar except rather than having won anything he's finalled a major and can play the heel if needed, and is also bringing the goods on a regular basis

Taylor casually averaged over a ton on the legs that Cross won

I'd like to see averages on legs won vs lost over a big sample. In a match like this I'd imagine his average on legs lost had to be higher because he rarely even got a chance to throw at a double.

Is there anywhere to find this data?

I would think the need to have high scores to get to a double to win a leg evens out with the not getting to doubles in losing legs.

Giving Phil a bonus 4 points for excellent post-match interview swearing/fingering, but as nobody picked him the standings are unchanged, skip to the end

I posted data for everyone (on a per turn not per dart basis) in the tournament in the writeups, the winning legs are always higher

Supposedly they're gonna start holding the German masters at Veltins Arena (>60k stadium). Not sure how that's gonna work.

Apparently it'll be some sort of darts/concert hybrid. Sounds terrible but as long as they pay decent rent...

Tennis has been held in a few French versions using a corner of the stadium as the main two walls of seating, it shouldn't be too hard to do so while still maintaining a half decent atmosphere/surroundings.

The Perth Darts Masters event is always at Challenge Stadium (**** 3k arena) instead of Perth Arena (awesome new 10k stadium) which pisses me off.

Yeah I think they've held a handball match (fields ~basketball size IIRC) in the stadium like that. Begs the question though why they won't hold it in one of the various other arenas in the areas ranging from 5k to 20k.

Thinking of joining my local dart league. I've never played competitively, though, and always play cricket when I dart with friends instead of 01 games. I think I've seen some online play in the past, where I assume you just use the honor system? Does anyone have any recommendations? Thinking I'll train up a bit and join next season.

I would assume they're going for some sort of attendance gimmick record. Plus they don't need to bother bringing a big screen

Pripto - I know some online games set up a webcam on the board, but it's not something I've ever explored as I don't have space for a board at home and have enough opponents at my local

I don't know about online leagues or anything but n01 is a good app. You select a level and play against a computer. The levels get increasingly harder up to literally impossible and it keeps track of your average etc so you can track your progress. I haven't used the app in a while and now it's 2.99 instead of free so I don't know if anything changed but it was pretty helpful when I used it. My average increased by 5-10 points. There was a similar one for cricket but I can't seem to find it.

I thought that, but after watching Cross I'm convinced that any multiple of 18 is good

Dammit...I can't believe the darts is over!
