Depends on the method. There are two competing theories.
For the record taking each in turn from left to right and numbering where they are in the order is clearly correct. I.e. 1 is the hottest.
The alternative is to rank them in order of where they are from left to right. Inferior method. This would be first listed number is the hottest.

Game I invented for me and my friends when drinking and watching RZ (that starts at 2am our time)
When RedZone early slate is on, fill out a 3x3 card of WRs/TEs/RBs that you think will score a touchdown (can also pick QBs to rush, or D/STs if you are inclined to gamble).
The score a TD (whenever RZ shows it, so you might get screwed by them not getting to your game for a while) you tick them off, first one to make three in a row makes bingo and wins the game/money/fame/fortune.

Can't quite figure out how Thornton won that game. He missed darts by miles, and then every time would either find his double or jam in two T20s to follow up a woeful first dart.

Reason: obviously there is strategy as the center is involved in 4 of 8 ways to make bingo, corners 3 and middle edges 2
