Watched some of the Darts during RM-MU half time. Just can't get into it. Even worse to watch in the summer than Snooker imo.

It's not really kicked off yet and the quality's been a bit underwhelming. It should kick up a bit on Wednesday with Taylor/Barney, MvG/jobber, Chizzy/Norris and some combo of Adie/Beaton/White/Cross. Tuesday's round 2 games don't look that enticing, if peak Gurney returns as opposed to crap Gurney that played today then it could be interesting but otherwise there's just Wright/Reyes that could be good, West/Webster should also be close if West can repeat his sick form from match one

LOL Anderson is a wow to me but I'd rather just tip my hat to Superchin for stepping up.

Tomorrow tho should be lol epic tears falling with Taylor vs Barney.

lol barney

edit - it seems as if william hill's "your odds" feature doesn't extend to being brave enough to offer me a price on gurney being in the premier league

Gurney is on a ****ing roll tho, and if Wright isn't careful Gurney is gonna stomp him out.

Wright's playing well enough that he should beat Gurney and if I was betting on anyone given the odds it would be Wright, honestly think it's a step too far unless Wright regresses to how he played in round 1

I never feel more uncomfortable than when I'm watching a Taylor interview.

In the (MVG) match vs Whitlock he was 8-2 up in the second break. During this break MVG texted his good friend Vincent van der Voort: "Bye bye Whitlock".

Van der Voort revealed this during the Dutch broadcast of the tournament (day after the Whitlock match).

Heh, didn't know that, I just assumed it was in relation to his pre match interview with Sky where he was his usual confident/arrogant borderline self

Posted up a final preview. Don't think it's worth a bet, think it's closer than the line suggests but not by much, handicaps aren't offering anything useful either. Up for the tournament at least.

Probably wont be a dry eye in the house tonight for Taylor...still for some reason im liking Wright to take it down tonight. Win win either way.

Nice...****ing Taylor...he is the GOAT forever and a day. Like how he called out MVG for a finals matchup at the World Championships with no hesitation whatsoever.

Well done Taylor. Noone will match his achievements. Noone is that ****ing stubborn.

Overall, I thought it was a poor tournament. Anyone else agree? Just not the quality that other torunaments have produced recently.
