6/11 legs killed in 12 or less for MvG, that's impressive even by his standards

Thats almost as bad as the time the Jaguars had the direction arrows running the wrong way on a sideline.
It seems as if that's not the only time they've cocked up that sort of thing, being bored right now and browsing youtube:

Would you have a case if you were throwing for a 9, and slipped into the 14, and you were like "well it says 9 so deal with it"?

I assume they ignored what the board said. If it was the 1 and 20 you'd have to think they don't play without getting it fixed mind you.

Whoever is directing tonight's PL is going to be fired for being drunk. They cut to the wrong double on quite a few occasions.

Cool, accumulator busted after one game, that normally only happens when I bet on Plop in a lunchtime kickoff

Taylor doesn't enter any of the second weekend of the UK Open qualifiers. Might struggle to qualify with zero prize money. Jenkins has entered them though

Taylor is probably retiring next year. If he could just play worlds every year I think he would.

In the competitive pub leagues, what sort of averages are common? Is the last 256 of the lol BDO much better than say a random Stoke pub league night?

It's not about averages in the Stoke pub league. It's about doing just enough and going unnoticed. This is where the real darts millionaires hang out - this is the world of the darts hustlers, and their high stakes money games. There are at least 10 guys on the Stoke pub scene who could beat the fame-chasing Taylor with two borrowed darts and a biro.

If you mean stuff like super league darts then at the 'top end', it'd be high 70s but not generally good enough to be on the tournament circuit.

Here's the London Super League...

MvG with the close 6-5 win over Adam Hunt in his opening match in today's UK open qualifier in Wigan. Two nine darters though

Edit - was in the next round and pdc twatter is crap on giving details and pdc website is crap on updating

Won't be long until he hits 3

Darren Webster and Ronny Huybrechts both hit one yesterday, here's Ronny's:

Huybrechts lost to Whitlock in the final after beating Anderson, Jenkins, White, Webster and Michael Smith - Rob Cross (he who MvG put the 18 perfect darts past in last year's event) made a semi beating Wade, Chisnall, Thornton and Klaasen to get there. Nice work

Final qualifier today - big names in danger of not qualifying (other than Taylor obv):

Suljovic - he's withdrawn from every qualifier for personal reasons so needs to play and hit a minimum of the last 32, ideally the last 16
Wilson - hitting the last 32 yesterday should make him safe on countback, but could do with at least another 250 quid
Caven - 0-5 so far, and the best player he's played so far is Stuart Kellett
Green - got off the board with a last 64 yesterday, but will need to go one better today
West - similar to Caven, he has nothing, but at least he's won some preliminaries
Hopp - had a last 64 on Friday, and has had a couple of tricky draws, but again needs the last 32
Rodriguez - got to the last 64 twice, so one more may be enough but it will depend on countout, with 75 players already on £750 it won't take that much for it to not be enough
Murnan - got £250 in event one but nothing since
Payne - similar, except in event two
van den Bergh - currently on £500 so will need to cash, and possibly more than mincash

so no suljovic today either, what the heck

draw out, those above:
wilson - ben ward then michels/bowles
caven - somehow still seeded to round 2, then eidams or bousfield
green - adam hunt then parsons/fullwell
west - prakash jiwa then roelofs/johnson
hopp - aden kirk then lam/schindler
rodriguez - appears not to be playing
murnan - gary stone then tabern/jennings
payne - simon stevenson then king
van den bergh - simon griffiths then darren webster
