the point is that you can't lower your average by throwing for doubles, regardless of whether you hit or miss, if the other guy doesn't let you try in the first place

Something rubs me the wrong way about John McDonald's introduction for Adams. When you've achieved something in premier darts association, then you can get a special introduction. He should get a quick "here's Martin Adams" and that's it.

Neither agreeing or disagreeing, but since the PDC for the most part does seem to want to kiss and make up with the BDO (with the PDC controlling the top level of darts around the globe) it makes sense to be acknowledging BDO achievements in some way shape or form.

It is funny to have "dour" Adams against "energetic" Huybrechts though.

Taylor has obviously pi$$ed off just about every dart player on stage at some point in his career ... but he tends to think along these lines when it happens to him.

Still think MVG does not quite perform to the same level vrs Taylor as he does verses everyone else.

THRILLING BDO NEWS:

John Michael, the Greek rep for the PDC championship last year, had a run all the way to the semi's in the men's singles in the WDF/BDO version of the World Cup. The run ended when (seemingly) someone realized that John Michael has been playing on the PDC's Euro Tour all year.

Player Kicked Out of WDF World Cup

As far as I can tell, that's what this story is saying. And yes, he made it all the way to the SEMIS before anyone realized this.

well if one misses half the events and the other misses all the events you can't complain when you get a bad seeding. Think Barney got a crap draw as well for the same reasons, prob can find it looking up a couple of pages
