I messed up the sixth or seventh move allowing myself to lose (I knew that Connect 4 was solved, and had even organised to be allowed to go first without a return match, but yeah, not a great idea.

Anyway, back to darts

5-5 at the moment, Personally I think this game should have been on second (the closer match, two very well known and followed players as opposed to Chisnall who while a good player, is still yet to have a real break-through tournament)

Anyway, hopefully Whitlock can win and shove it up Wades ass.

I for some reason just hate whitlock but unfourtunately he's gonna win

I will be honest, I do watch with green and gold tinted glasses so am probably over-valueing Whitlock and under-rating Chisnall and to a lesser extent MvG.

Also, let the record show the score was 4-0 when I started watching (lol comm games) and now 8-5.

Ohhh, 9-5 classy finish.

Important thing for Whitlock is to 1) put this away as opposed to the Hamilton match a while ago here and 2) not let personal haterade of Wade get in the way of winning another 7 legs.

LOL'd at "mutual respect" from Mardle when from what I saw Wade was very reluctant/didn't shake Whitlocks hand, and then Whitlock kind of chased him around the stage for a bit.

Not a good look from either side tbh...

I hardly won a point.

That was not a good day.

This happened to me as well, but after having watched table tennis on television I assumed it was super standard for random Australian to get wooped by small asians at table tennis.

I did however, beat a (caucasian) pub owner 2-1 in a game of table tennis who claimed to be a bit of a champ for a few baht. He then wanted me to challenge his "friend" for significantly more, and I got the **** out of dodge before something like this happened.

The GF is pretty obssessed with Michael van Gerwen, or "van Gherkin" as she calls him on account of his green shirts. Should I be worried about her mental health?

Her going out with you should have been the first clue.

Lewis crushed by Anderson 16-8

Newton keeping up with Taylor for now, but certain to be over-run.

----------------------

Anyway, after having had a look at some of the things planned for the Perth Masters Darts next month, apparently you can attempt to qualify for $25

http://www.rydges.com/accommodation/...rs-qualifying/

For $25, the fact I haven't have played darts maybe 10 times in the last 6 years, I might try a magical FA Cup run purely for the lols...

I at least have 4 weeks to practice/buy a dart board.

I probably would for the comedy if its local

Said at the outset on another forum that I fancied Phil to lose in the semi to whoever he plays, Anderson taking down Lewis like that is a good sign but still think he'll choke somehow

The qualifying place is about 20 minutes from my house.

Unfortunately qualifying starts at 9.30am on a weekend both days, but I might try once for a laugh (there are two qualifying days)

Both qualifying days are followed by Australian Grand Prix events which are also apparently free entry if you try the qualifying, so there is that going for it. Worst comes to worst I assume they have a bar open at 10am.

Semi-Finals start now.

MvG 2-2 Whitlock on throw as of this point but there has been the two breaks of throw.

Whitlock took out 133 via the ever so common route of T19, D19, D19

Last leg of my Accum is riding on this one, Anderson to have more 180's than Taylor.

Using fuzzy maths.

Anderson would go to 7th or so in the world if he loses to Taylor, with a peak of 5 if he won the event.

Wade would be the player who slid the most in terms of money in the last two years, but would be unlikely to lose a position unless overtaken by Anderson who would prob need to win

Also, I would have laughed in your face 8 years ago (when I moved out of home for the first time) if I would be spending time at 4.30am in the morning watching darts while participating in a thread with 5000 posts dedicated to the sport.
