Had Searle at 65/1 to win the title this weekend and didn’t hedge so that ending was tough for me, but I’m so happy for the guy that I can’t feel too bad about it.

I’ve seen the potential seed matchups and it looks absolutely incredible. Price and Clayton in Q1, a pretty weak Q2 with Cullen probably my favorite to get out of it, and Q3 and Q4 being absolutely stacked.

He's just had a really bad season, it happens, let's just hope he doesn't go the way of van de Pas (who didn't have the same peak as de Zwaan but had a ton more consistency)

Krcmar basically saved his card by qualifying, Kenny's given himself a great chance but would need to win his opening game. Wilson's probably too far behind but has been playing surprisingly good stuff (is actually in the top 32 on averages in my database) but needing a minimum of last 16 seems like way too much of an ask unless he gets a dream draw (i.e. Durrant or Petersen)

Sedlacek, de Decker, Edgar, Klaasen, Wayne Jones, Hamilton, Pipe, Tabern, McGeeney all lose cards. Mansell almost certainly losing his (needs to hit a six-way parlay of five Pro Tour qualifiers and Schindler all to lose, so 5/32 chance he's done 90 minutes from now regardless), Waites, Hopp and Henderson next players not in the worlds to be in danger, they're 58/59/60 in the OOM respectively and all of Barney, Schindler, Meikle and Brooks will pass them with a single win. Soutar and Kenny will pass Waites with a win, then there's another five that'll pass the lot of them with two wins.

Also means that Sherrock would only be 64th win two wins assuming perfect luck from everyone 65th downward who is in the worlds, so for all intents and purposes it's last 16 or Q-School

Hahah, you’re right, your way does sound better! Match lines just got posted on my sportsbooks and they have Fallon and Beaton at -110 each. I expected her to be somewhere around -150 to -180. Guess I’m gonna have to bet on her in this first round matchup!

Apologies, but I'm not going to be able to run a full blown fantasy comp, I've simply had too many irl commitments to be able to set anything up, plus I don't know how reliable the PDC data service is going to be in terms of getting what I'd need to run it. What I will do, however, is run a sweep, simple scoring of five points for a won set, a point for a leg in a lost set then an additional ten for a match win. That's tracked by wiki so that doesn't need huge additional work for me. There's 96 players so any of 8, 12 or 16 participants will get 12, 8 or 6 players respectively, will put the players into appropriately sized pools on seedings/strength so nobody gets completely hosed. £10 a go, just post in for now and I'll sort out payment details later

Reserve list comes from the PDPA qualifier, they've already subbed in de Decker (Losper visa issue), Mathers (Rodriguez bubonic plague issue) and Hudson (Wen visa issue). Next up I think would be de Zwaan
