French open is easily the worst slam, it's not even close.

Wimbledon >>US>AUS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> FO

If you're scoring them out of a 100, Wimbledon is 100, US is like 95,Australia 94.

If you can win one slam in your career it's wimbledon. It's like winning a a major at St Andrews.

This perspective is why americans are bad at football. No love of tactics, skill or finesse.

The correct order is:

Aussie because it's late at nite, in the middle of a boring month for North America, and it's awesome to watch summer tennis in January. Plus it's the first Slam of the year with little warm up, and the courts are a fun blue.

Wimbledon is second, then the US, then the French.

French is always last because of the rain, the early stop times because of no lights, and the lame crowd.

The clay M1000 events are way more fun to watch than actual RG.

Boring month for everyone tbh

Anyway I like your reasons but I can't have Wimbledon not being the best and most prestigious.

Agree about the m1000 being better than RG too though, RG is just woeful.

The crowd at Roland Garros deciding they've had enough of someone and savagely whistling, booing and heckling them is unique, that's for sure.

The order for the players would appear to be Wimbledon, US, French, Aussie. Although a few might bump the French up and Wimbledon down.

Yeah, 30-40 years ago when not all players played Australia.

Now though it's changed.

An event will become naturally undesirable when the same guy wins it essentially every year for the past 14 years.

And when there is only 1 month out of the year when a surface is used it becomes more difficult for that surface to be recognized as the desired surface on which to succeed.

I think it's Wimbledon, AO, RG/US Open. AO is called the players' slam for a reason, they love it.

For me personally it's RG, Wimbledon, AO, USO.

I suppose you mean grass.

About 1/3 of men's tournaments are played on clay. Most of the rest on hardcourt. Grass is incidental.

The actual best, against all odds, is indoor. The indoor tour and its M1000 events are awesome.

Guess we will just have to agree to disagree. The french then Wimbledon is seen as one of the hardest things to do.

Going from the slow courts to the fastest for a few weeks is always a challenge for the players.

Indoor is great. They really should be doing more carpet events too.

Have change a slam to carpet too. Australia doesn’t get much rain when their open is on so wouldn’t get soggy and could still be an outdoor event.

Aussie open has always been my favorite. Continuing a long night of drinking into the morning while watching tennis is awesome. It seems it's had its fair share of sick matches too
