yeah, this is a great counter; it's a high variance pick. there are certainly MANY negatives which could come to a society which stresses and highlights sex.

Thats what I assumed you meant when I first read it. By allowing Nath's pick you are pretty much confirming the interpretation of the post you just quoted though, imo.

Exactly, I didn't want people to be able to just draft virtues, as that is boring. Here, he's NOT drafting the IDEA of sex, he's drafting sex ITSELF. Not as strong a pick, since it leaves a lot of leeway toward negativity - in fact, some could say "love" or positive feelings have little to do with sex.

so, in my opinion, nath's world will be very independent, very wild, free spirited. pros and cons.

Yes. If it makes the whole idea of this easier for some to swallow, imagine Nath drafted the Kama Sutra. It is essentially the same thing.

I know it's quite literally impossible to not mention draftable things, since everything is draftable. But some of you guys are throwing things around a little too liberally. Condoms was definitely going to be selected at some point, imo.

im going to block the kama sutra for now and just assume that is nath's pick. when he comes back on, we can flesh out the details, but i think that would calm everyone down/get things back on track if that is indeed the #1 overall pick.

I think of it like this.

In real world terms, think of it like...Italian Food.

The best italian food is in Italy. They own the rights to Italian food. Lots of other countries also have italian food. Some are good, some not so good.

Naths world now has the right to sex. Other nations have sex if they want to, but they are basing their sex largely off of Naths worlds sex. Some can have good sex, some can have lousy sex. But when you think of Italy, one of the things you think about is Italian Food. When you think of Naths world, one of the things you will think about is sex.
