I really would like to hear a reasoning here, since Kane actually has/had pretty solid in-ring skills. His masked gimmick was better than Big Show's/Giant's ever has been (which is pretty much just being a huge guy) imo.

I don't get the Pillman love. I feel like his death actually helps his fame more than it hurts him here. He was never as beloved before he died as he was after imo (this can probably also be said about Owen to a lessor degree). It's probably a good pick but it's not like some great value steal.

I really disagree, pillman was probably one of the best heels to not have gotten a ME run. His ankle injury did change him, but the loose cannon gimmick was pulled off to an awesome level

Oh I'm not disagreeing that he was awesome. I just don't remember him ever getting a significant push. You guys are seeming to completely ignore stuff like that and I'm not sure you should be.

I think that's for two reasons:

1. People really are drafting well.

2. Everyone joined this draft to have fun. Nobody is going out of their way to roast someone else's picks. Plus, people are getting more caught up in the nostalgia than the picks themselves.

Whoever had the idea of including the intro music and spoilering the pick was a genius.

Meh. I think we are getting to the point where guys are taking the best fit and not the best player available.

wrt Pillman, I agree that he is a bit of a reach, but like every other one of my picks, he was the guy I wanted and I was willing to overpay.

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

entrance music is awesome

I have always maintained my only requirement for my wedding is that I get to pick the entrance music. and I am torn between "Enter Sandman" and the SCSA theme.

Close runners up that have been eliminated are the bret hart theme and the million dollar man theme

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

Then after you say I do, the groom could rip off the Kane mask and reveal it's THE BEST MAN. OH MY GOD JR SHE MARRIED THE WRONG GUY.

Then cut to you being tied up in a closet demanding number one contender status at the divorce proceedings.
