My draft board seriously has been blown the f up by the last 3 picks. FML.

I'll try to have up something soon, so tilted that I sent ajohnson a list and the 3 names I wanted most on it were Bulldog, Slaughter, and Christian.

I would like to trade up, and I'll pay a decent amount for it! Since your guys all got taken, I thought you may be interested. Let me take a look at the spreadsheet and I'll see if I can come up with an exact offer.

PM me something, I'll be pretty likely to take it.

Same here as well. Trying to wait for ajohnson but I don't want to slow things up too much so PM me an offer.

Trade offer to Lurchy(if he turns it down and doesn't take my guy, then I'd offer something similar to littlekeed):

You give: #58, #212, #213

I give #74, #168, #169

The double picks really make it tough to make fair offers. Let me know if theres something else you have in mind.

btw I'm going to redo the spreadsheet so that the double pick rounds are listed correctly

I despise delaying drafts but I need a solid 45 minutes to an hour to do some more research. My list of 3-4 guys got blown up by the last few picks and I want to make sure there's no one out there that I'm either missing or to decide if I want to trade down.

edited the spreadsheet a bit to make the double picks more clear and also let us know the exact # of each pick(to help with trades)....Theres now an empty column next to every pick in rounds 6-10, but hopefully thats not a huge deal

littlekeed, if Lurchy doesn't take that offer would you be interested in something similar? I don't really know what you guys are looking for in trade value and being forced to trade both picks in the double rounds makes it much tougher to work something out, but I tried to offer something I thought was fair. Let me know.....

I'd rather acquire some earlier round double picks... obviously I wouldn't make you take a couple 10th rounders in exchange. I have to think about it a little more.

Gotcha....

I feel as if I'd be giving up way too much value if I gave you both my 6th rounders in exchange for your 7th rounders(I give: #74, #126, #127....You give: #59, #180, #181). I also think you would be giving up too much value if we simply swapped 6th rounders(I give: #74, #126, #127....You give: #59, #138, #139).

What about this.....

You'd let me move up from #74 to #59, and in exchange I'll let you move up in every single round I pick ahead of you(rounds 6, 7, and 10). So it would be:

I'll give you: #74, #126, #127, #168, #169, #294, #295
You give me: #59, #138, #139, #180, #181, #306, #307

I don't think I can go any more than that though, as letting you move up six different times is a lot imo. Let me know if you're interested. Lurchy, I'd offer you something similar(or something like I first offered if you like that better).

You can make a good case for Benoit and Owen Hart having longevity in a 2nd life, however given the Von Erich family history it would take a miracle for him to fight for longer than 10 years.

Also considering the reactions to my first 3 picks, people will probably think I'm reaching again, which is gonna suck since I traded up(although if one single person who picks before #74 says the would've taken my guy, then it was worth it imo)

With our 3rd round pick, aejohnson and I select:

Spoiler:
John Bradshaw Layfield

JBL was a huge heat magnet and star for the WWE particularly from 2004-2006. The WWE kept the heavyweight belt on him for 280 days after he took the belt off of the late Eddie Guerrero in 2004.

JBL has great mic skills, can be a great heel and is just what we're looking for to work with Vince in a feud with big faces such as Goldberg.

Some small tidbits about JBL include that he's the 10th ever WWE Grand Slam Champion and he ranked #17 in the PWI 500 in 2004 and #5 in the PWI 500 in 2005. In addition, JBL was given the best gimmick of 2004 by Wrestling Observer Newsletter and was named the best commentator of the year by Pro Wrestling Report in 2006. Overall, we feel like JBL is a strong talent that can clearly play the heel well extremely well.

I agree that JBL is a good companion to Mr. McMahon as a heel and a very good fit for your federation..... in round 5. MAYBE round 4. This is a total reach though. With your 1st-round pick, you took a non-wrestler who's only actual on-screen skill is working the mic, and now you take a part-time wrestler who's best skill is working the mic. Somewhere in there, you need a heel/tweener who's credible on his own. Don't like the pick at all.
