David was in line to win the NWA title. Ric Flair said in his biography ""...David would have been an NWA champion and could have carried it." Are you guys appreciating how big you have to be to win the NWA title at the time? From the moment of his death, nobody was seriously considered for an extended run with the NWA title until Sting in 1990 (other than Flair, of course).

Also, we aren't assuming David is going to drop dead at 25 in this draft. Like Owen Hart, we're ignoring untimely deaths.
but this is not a owen hart, accidental death situation. davids death was because of his personal life(yea, i dont buy the heart attack theory). he may have made a good nwa champ, but there are so many better picks here.

imo, there is no way that benoit is "alive" in this draft. i all "untimely" to me, not brought on by something he did.

Like the Bulldog, but don't think he pairs up too well with Taker and Warrior.

Why do you keep saying this when the OP which is like the only rules we have clearly states:

Quote:
You will be drafting to run a 30-year organization. Longevity is important. If you draft someone that dies two years into his career, then he will die in two years here.
How could a death two years into a career not be untimely? Despite dying, Owen Hart had more longevity than The Rock, and Chris Benoit had a lot of longevity. Your dude has similar longevity to Goldberg.

Sorry...forgot to add our roster at the bottom of my post.

We have Bret Hard and Edge. BB used to train with the Hart family.

Bret/Owen/BB OR Brew/Edge/BB?

I'm surious whether people think it's better to draft wrestlers who have worked together a lot like Bret Hart, Owen hart, and the British Bulldog?

Or, would it be better to draft guys who have never (or rarely) worked together like Bret Hart, Edge, and Ricky Steamboat.

(assume the two groups are equal).

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

Agree that throwing Edge in there instead of Owen is better and a little more original. The Hart Foundation is great and all, but I dunno if I'd want to see them dominate the entire top of the card all the time.
