Nice pick with Mysterio. A natural fit with Eddy, and he could have some good matches with Funk as well.

Folks, PLEASE post your entire roster when you make a pick.

I think Mysterio is a bit of a reach but depending on the roster it might be fine.

EDIT: See, I like him A LOT with Eddie and Funk.

I'm surprised no one has made a joke about how Austin would refuse to job to Lesnar so far.

Overall, I think his federation is leading in the 'best hair' category .. but it's early

Luger killed Miss Elizabeth. He should have been dragged through the street.

Mysterio was on my short list of guys who needed to go soon. Solid pick, and that federation is going to have some great matches.

I loved wrestling back then and will agree that Luger was massively over in that era. I personally do not mind this pick if used correctly.

and JR would not have been my #1 play by play guy off the board

He was that, and they did burn him out pretty quickly with the constant face/heel turns. And then he got the "choker" label when he could never win the title. I'll reserve judgment until I see a few more picks, Luger could be good if he's programmed with the right guys.

There's two guys people usually argue for. One is a good argument but I disagree. The other is insanity IMO.

This is more or less how I was taking this draft as well.

Mysterio is decent value here as well. He's also money to your organisation

Well there goes Jarrett. I figured he'd fall cause people see him as this power-hungry backstage manipulator who never got over on his own talents. I always thought he was pretty cool though. Kind of like the poor-man's wannabe Flair. Apparently he's huge over in the south.

Disappointed you didn't use this entrance music though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS1kKN41Fi8

Didn't see that music. Searching for his music results in like 40 different songs. But I felt I had to use With My Baby Tonight for comedic purposes.

Speaking of entrance music, has anyone ever gone from "This **** is cool!" to "What the **** kinda crap is this?" like Bret Hart from WWE to WCW?

A lot of the guys jumping from WWF --> WCW got really crappy remix of their theme music imo.

Hogan - "He's American MADE!!" was like 1 step above the American Males song
Macho- Unneeded rocknroll remix of a classic, although I did like his version of the NWO theme the best.
Luger- His theme was like the most generic jobber crap ever

I've been following this, and have a quick question. How do you come down on drafting tag team duos? I'm talking about guys who were really only famous for their work together in a tag team duo, and really didn't have much of a solo career at all. Can you draft them with one pick, or do you have to draft each member individually?

In general I think Luger sucks sweaty balls, but one thing I did love about him were his "so-bad that they're good" finishing moves.

The stupid plate in the forearm that they talked about every match - why the hell didn't that mess the other guy up everytime he hit him? Why didn't he just hit him with that right from the beginning?

And the RACK!!! Stupidest looking submission of all time, but I still love it. Luger doing a bunch of little 2 inch bunny hops always looked funny.
