Eh, singles >>> tag teams imo.

+ I feel like people weren't loving the Bushwhackers when I took the first guy. And, as someone pointed out to me, you actually only get the comedy jobber Bushwhackers with those two, cause the crazy violent hardcore Sheepherders were with a third guy.

I guess the best deal would have been to take Gibson and ship him the whacker for Morton, but whatever. I feel like I get some interesting matchups out this, can do a new v. old rockers feud and let someone else get to the top of the card for awhile with HBK occupied. That and Hammer + Muraco would be a SICK heel team if I stuck them together.

I feel like you can always stick a couple singles guys together and get a sick team (Angle+Benoit, RocknSock, Two Man Power Trip, JeriShow, hell even the Acolytes) if you want to get a tag feud going, and that having top card singles draws is more important overall.
Also just imagine the team of Janetty + Disco. Blows my mind

now this is why this is a great draft.

I completely see all those points. I didn't see the value in Marty and Greg that you saw, I pretty much just saw Cruizin' getting bailed out of some weird decisions. Nice work sir.

I gotta be honest, I always hated the Flair flop.

Although the one at the end is great (that whole promo after winning the IC title is great).

Don't feel like researching at this point so I'll round out my roster with a couple people I randomly like.

Pick 312

Vickie Guerrero

Vickie kind of treads the line between heel heat and X-Pac heat, but I personally think she's great at pissing off the crowd. She'll be a good on screen GM character for my promotion, and likely the target of many Rock one liners and insults.

Pick 313

Muhammad Hassan

Fans hated the **** out of this guy during his short stint with WWE. Ended up quitting the biz after WWE ran a terrorist angle the same day as the London bombings and he became the target of tons of media scrutiny. I'll probably avoid doing that in my promotion, and hopefully get a few more years out of him.

I'm happy to get two heat magnets right at the end of the draft imo.

Final Promotion:
The Rock
Owen Hart
Christopher Daniels
Dean Malenko
Shelton Benjamin
"Dr. Death" Steve Williams
"Sensational" Sherri Martel
Petey Williams
2 Cold Scorpio
Super Crazy
Charlie Haas
Gorgeous George
Art Barr
Vickie Guerrero
Muhammad Hassan

I think your promotion is seriously lacking a credible threat to The Rock. Lots of great wrestlers, but no one on his level.

Yeah, I'm not sure if anyone that caliber was really there at the end of round two. I think I'll be able to build guys up pretty well though, people like Daniels and Shelton definitely have the ability.

Spoiler:

Steve Blackman

Though never great on the mic, Blackman shined in hardcore/weapons matches and was fairly entertaining due to his martial arts background. I loved his feud with Shane McMahon:

Spoiler:

Johnathan Coachman

There is really something to be said about having a good heel commissioner in your promotion and The Coach fulfills that role for me. Even though the real booking is done behind the curtain, having a meddling, scheming, interfering, two-faced commish that screws the big time face (in my case, Austin) out of, say, a title shot, can create very popular feuds as proven with Austin/McMahon and to a lesser extent, Austin/Coach irl. Coach is very, very skilled on the mic and can even double with interviewing/announcing if need be, though Styles is all the play-by-play my promo will need.

My final roster:

Stone Cold Steve Austin
Brock Lesnar
AJ Styles
Lance Storm
Arn Anderson
Mr. Kennedy
Sable
Masato Tanaka
Joey Styles
Amazing Red
Jimmy Hart
Shark Boy
Abyss
Steve Blackman
Johnathan Coachman

Great job with the draft, this went real fast

I do have to say, how did Pat Patterson and Ray Stevens not get picked?

yes, I blame myself partly, but deezy and I wanted more balance with face/heels and more cruiserweight guys.

These two guys drew great in various territories and in big money federations for a good amount of time. Patterson was huge in the W/WWF too for a while before retiring from the ring
