It doesn't matter(see what I did there?) why the Rock stopped wrestling or if it was "his fault." The point is that his value is greatly hurt in this draft because of it.
As for Austin, he never had that much success as a heel, whereas it totally revitalized Hogan's career. That imo is the big difference between them.
