With our round 8 picks, the Rhino Wrestling Federation is proud to select:

Theme 1

Theme 2

Spoiler:

Mike Rotundo is probably best known as IRS, but the dude was more than that. He was one of my favourites as a kid, and was a tag team champion with Barry Windham. I can face him and team him up with Billy Gunn and recreate the US Express. I can also IRS him again because I thought that was a funny gimmick. Good all around guy who is decent value now.

Every federation needs a tub of lard, and mine is going to be King Kong Bundy. The guy was pretty popular for a while, and he was pretty decent overall. I'm not in love with the pick tbh, but I think he is good value at this point.

stable so far:
Macho Man
Jake the Snake
Honky Tonk Man
Brian Pillman
Billy Gunn
Al Snow
Goldust
Adrian Adonis
Brutus Beefcake
Mike Rotundo
King Kong Bundy

With the 212th overall pick, aejohnson and I select:

Spoiler:
Magnum T.A.

Magnum T.A. was set to be a huge star in the wrestling industry and was being groomed to take over as NWA World Champion until a car accident ended his career.

Despite the fact that he wasn't allowed to compete until the end of his career, Magnum T.A. still had an 11 year career and was a two time US Champion and engaged in several feuds, including one with Ric Flair.

Magnum T.A. ranks #73 in the PWI top 500 during the PWI years.

With pick 213 overall, I'm taking:

Spoiler:
"The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff

Nikita Koloff had a solid 8 year career in the ring, engaging in several high profile feuds including with Magnum T.A.

Want to know how over Koloff was in his prime? Read this from Wiki:

Quote:
Koloff continued to improve and became a big enough heel to get a match against NWA World Champion Ric Flair at The Great American Bash 1985 on July 6. Koloff lost to Flair and was even attacked by a fan during the match, but he established himself as a superstar in the wrestling business. It was shortly after Koloff's first main event, which drew tremendous heat, that Vince McMahon first approached with an offer to leave the NWA for the burgeoning pastures of the WWF. McMahon promised Koloff an immediate push, suggesting either a program with Tito Santana, during which he would win the Intercontinental Championship, or a program with Hulk Hogan that would culminate the following year at WrestleMania 2. Nikita turned him down, believing the massive push that had been booked for him in the NWA, namely the planned feud with Magnum T.A., would give him greater leverage down the road to secure a more lucrative contract with McMahon
Quote:
After StarrCade, Koloff was firmly established as one of the NWA's most popular stars, which made him an even more inviting target for Vince McMahon. His first offer having been rebuked, McMahon made a bid for Koloff's services that dwarfed his earnings from Jim Crockett. This time, however, McMahon could not give him the WWF Intercontinental title (which was already promised to Ricky Steamboat, nor could he give him the WrestleMania III main event with Hulk Hogan (which would be his historic confrontation with André the Giant). Instead McMahon could only offer Koloff a program with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and the promise of a major push. Koloff again decline
Koloff continued wrestling until the early 90's. Overall, he had feuds with such stars as Sting, Ric Flair, and Lex Luger.

Koloff ranks at #113 in the PWI 500 and he also was named their most inspirational wrestler in 1987 as well as being engaged in a five star match and the feud of the year in that same year.

Actually, there was one guy we were both pretty big on...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW5DUfXFiG4

Spoiler:

Kamala debuted in wrestling in 1974 and has wrestled into this decade, so he obviously has tons of longevity, especially for a big guy.

In the WWF, he had notable feuds with Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, and Jake Roberts.

We believe Kamala could have an awesome feud with Rikishi.

Federation so far:
Sting
Jerry Lawler
Jeff Hardy
Scott Steiner
Ultimo Dragon
Gorilla Monsoon
Tito Santana
Rikishi
Marc Mero
Kamala
