Atlas fell too far imo. I looked at him for a while last round. Came very close to taking him.

wow, I never knew that the RF Video owner was caught in the perverted justice stings for soliciting sex from a boy in a chatroom.

this thread has taken me all over wiki, didn't expect to run into this....

My draft board looks like Britney Spears post-head shaving. My God. I didn't think I'd be digging this deep into the barrel with six picks left.

I somehow still have 53 wrestlers on my big board. I think I could do this for 20 picks.

I never had a physical big board, just kind of guys I had in mind around each spot, but I'm probably just going to be pulling out dudes I have fun memories of for the last of my picks. It's getting to the point where the potential value added isn't worth the time to actually distinguish value between different guys, so I might as well just have fun.

I read an excellent book about an unnamed who wrestled and toured with an animal... He never got the TV apperances but many pros speak highly of him. He also died tragically (that doesn't narrow the field much, like 20 percent of all former wrestles died tragically)

I hope someone picks him soon.

A one time Intercontinental Champion and three time Tag Team Champion in the WWF, I'm happy to add someone that not only can be successful in the ring, but adds some character to my promotion as well. Sure it's silly and over the top, but I always found his character to be very funny. There's also a natural feud to be had between him and the Big Boss Man.

The Mountie always gets his man. Even Hulk Hogan.

This isn't right. I was taking the Quebecers with my next picks. Now UNDRAFTED is worthless. FU

"Mr. USA" Tony Atlas

Beginning his career in 1975 in the NWA, Atlas was an immediate sensation. He was one of the first bodybuilders to get into the wrestling industry and helped to revolutionize the look of professional wrestling. His fast paced style and impressive physique became standard procedure for faces for years to come. As one of the original strongmen in wrestling, he managed to press slam 400+ lb opponents. He makes the Ultimate Warrior seem like Shane Helms.

He was a one time WWF Tag Team Champion and is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Today he still works of WWE as a manager on the ECW brand.

At this point in the draft I am very happy to grab a guy that can compete for my World Title, and at some point will probably win it. He also provides a strong face presence that might have been lacking before.

Harley Race
Nick Bockwinkel
Superfly Jimmy Snuka
Road Warrior Animal
Big Boss Man
Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Pedro Morales
Tully Blanchard

"Mr. USA" Tony Atlas

I'm changing the time limit to 12 hours after the pick, even if the pick is made at 8pm. We gotta get this thing finished.

Also when you pick you must PM the next person to pick. This is imperative at this stage.

fully agreed, I like the different combos and there is a good balance to the fed too. Good grouping of faces, heels and all sorts in between. I think a few cruiser/junior heavyweights would really round it out, but with good writing that would be a fun fed to watch.

Wouldn't be fair to start now. I PMd Noze that he is up. The new time limit will go into effect after he picks.
