I think he might be better than Heyman fwiw. I never really knew Cornette as more than the annoying manager with a tennis racket when I was a kid. Is he doing anything these days?

Ok, I can agree with that. Basically I feel that when we start our federations, each guy will have the same popularity as he had in real life. However, that can change based upon his performance in our federation.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that until Vince bought everyone out that wrestling was pretty much only popular in the South and some parts of the East Coast.

I think you're greatly underestimating how well known and popular wrestlers used to be. For example, I don't think anyone here would claim that Ric Flair would have any trouble with popularity, yet look at how wrestling perspective compares him to a few older guys:

true, but sports medicine and nutrition has also come a long way, which helps today's athletes recover much better and quicker.

quick question for everybody here...i can't think of this wrestler's name, and it's driving me insane.

i don't watch much wrestling anymore, but this was probably ~2-3 years ago. i believe he is a puerto rican wrestler, but i can't find his name on Wikipedia. i also believe that he had a kinda rat tail for a while.

i remember him being beat up by some massive girl (like Chyna-esque massive). then later, he was partners with her...she was always ringside for his matches--making distractions, etc. he was pretty slick on the mic, and he'd always be on his knees begging people not to beat his ass.

i coulda swore his name ended in "-to" like Carlito, but i can't find it ANYWHERE.

help please?? this is driving me INSANE...
