Not sure you guys will make the most money, in fact you almost surely won't, but there's no doubt as to how sick the matches you'll have can be.

Wow, can't believe that there's only 2 more picks before I'm up again and the two guys that I had as 3rd and 4th on my list last round are still available. There's one particular guy that I really, really want that I can't believe has slipped this far.

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

As far as recent picks go:

Dr. Death/Sherri: Don't like it. There's no way that Sherri was on anyone else's radar this early and I really don't see what was special about Dr. Death either. Just seemed like a generic big heel that wasn't very good on the mic.

Kennedy/Sable: Like it. It's hard to find mic workers as good as Kennedy this far down, and Sable was a huge, huge draw in her prime. Also, I know this isn't supposed to be factored in but if having her in the company gets Brock to stick around another year or two, she's more than justified her draft position.

Windham/Chavo: Great picks, especially Windham. This fed was a little short on main event faces and he fits the bill perfectly. And in addition to Chavo's ability to work with Eddie, he's definitely extremely solid in the ring.

Haku/Hacksaw: Meh, I know they were popular for a while, but neither's particularly entertaining and I don't really see the fit that well having these cartoonish guys with a fed that's trying to focus more on the in-ring product.

Studd/Saturn: Don't really know anything about Studd, but I think that there were better guys than Saturn available. He had a nice little push in WCW for a while and he's pretty decent in-ring, but he's not really a standout in anyway.

Low Ki/Hurricane: Can't really argue with the fit. If you want to emphasize the cruiserweight/X-division type guys really hard, I can see that working pretty darn well with your roster. I think I actually know who you were saying you would have taken over Helms and I agree that he would have been better but it's probably good to have someone that can play the comedy side too as a counterbalance in the division to some of the more vanilla guys.

Corino/Taka: Really like Corino a lot. He'll mesh well with your roster and he's good value this late as he's so solid on the mic. Not sure about Taka. He was never much of a star in the US, and with the kind of time WWE gave the smaller guys back then, he never had a chance to really show much in the ring. I'm sure he had a lot more ability if you followed his Japan stuff, but I still think you could have done a little better at this point in the draft.

The guy I'm thinking of couldn't possibly slip another 20 picks. I'm actually kinda shocked that he's slipped this far. Just two more picks, one time!

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

I try not to do this but I actually have two guys in mind for my next pick. It's such bad luck to do and I'm sure they'll probably both end up going. I'll still never forget doing my writeup for Gene Hackman and then he gets picked one pick before me.

That's what I was saying about Heenan a round ago and Windham this round. Danger!

Surprised Sherri wasn't on anyone else's radar. Fail by me imo.

Although I don't get what makes her worse than Sable. Sable is like the definition of a replacement level hottie if not for the Lesnar angle.

Re: Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft

Wow, can't believe I read this entire thread in the past 2 days.

Supppppppppper pissed I was on vacation when it was started. I'd have lovedddddd to get in on this. Down to be a judge 100%... and would 100% be down if another draft gets going after this one. Thinking something like 6 promotions with 3 people running each would would be ideal, but doubt I'd care what/who/how/etc if I could get in on one of these.

Lastly, there's a pretty big name out there who (unless the spreadsheet is wrong or I'm just that dumb) hasn't been picked yet that's absolutely shocking to me.

That would have sucked even worse, having you take him right in front of me.

Untouchable: You'll get to see it plenty for the remainder of this thread.

werswood/dan: don't think you're talking about undrafted that I'm thinking off, but if you are he's yet to be mentioned.

Oh boyyyy! Signing up immediately.

If someone could get together each teams roster after the previous round I'll have a go at rating each team using some criteria I make up over the next day or two (or maybe tonight depending if I make my way to my xbox or not).

I was going to do it earlier but found it way to difficult rounding up each persons team using the spreadsheet.
