The match I'd really want to see is Benoit/Dynamite, since Benoit is as close to a Dynamite clone (and grew up wanting to be like him) as it gets. I'd stick Morrison against Orton right now.

Disagree. Unlike most sports awards, these awards would often time go to the same person for many years in a row. For example, Foley won "best brawler" every year from 1991 to 2000. Imo that shows that they're truly trying to give it to the most deserving person and not just the underrated guy who hasn't yet gotten his due.

off and on in WCW for 5 years and held the US title for like 45 days or so. We're drafting them mostly on the basis of the power warriors gimmick

i doubled checked with wiki before conferring with Deezy to put in the pick. When I was tape tradiing, I remember having some nitros with him and seeing him on a decent amount of shows in the 92-98ish years

I'm pretty certain holding a major championship in a major fed makes him eligible. He was def a us champ he either beat konnan or one man gang for the belt doing this off memory. He was also part of the japanese invasion angle with sonny onoo
