UFC 107 BJ Penn Vs Diego Sanchez - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

in my opinion the card for 107 is stacked...

BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez
Kongo vs Mir
Guida vs Florian
Fitch vs Pierce.

Plus im reckon that Belcher vs Gouveia maye have sparks but im hearing that this fight "may" not be broadcast....tbh i hope, Penn, Kongo, Guida, and Fitch all win...

any one with any opinions on how UFC 107 may pan out? or just mma in general?

BJ's better in every area imo. I'd be shocked if Diego wins, given that BJ's cardio has been improving.

Mir vs. Kongo is the most interesting fight on this card imo. There's also another HW striker vs. grappler matchup in Paul Buentello vs. Stephan Struve.

I have no idea how diego would pull out a win. I guess the judges would respect his uptempo strategy, but he will get his clock cleaned if he does that for 5 rounds.

I like kongo as an underdog, mir isn't as good as the ufc hype machine claims, id like to see kongo shrug off his weak takedowns and drill him with leg kicks until mir inevitably mails it in.

BJ/Diego is going to be a sick sick fight. Mir v Kongo should be decent. Florian vs Guida isn't getting enough love, has a decent shot at FOTN, and with Penn/BJ on the card thats saying something. Fitch is a great fighter, will put on a show.

107 is a really strong card.

108 is meh. Such a ****ty card for what's normally a big event for them.

109 is really good minus the main event.

I'm only really interested in BJ/Diego. Floridan/Guida will be fun too though. I can't stand Kongo and have no interest in seeing him fight, hopefully Mir submits him rather quickly.

Sanchez - BJ is potentially an amazing fight.
Concerning Mir - Kongo id say Mir looks a tad too confident. Kongo def. has better standup than Mir, interesting fight as well.
