the area where he is going to be very good for the wrestling industry as a whole is in his study of concussions and other head injuries. he started "The Sports Legasy Institute" to learn about the brain.

DNKY Pure Wrestling will use him as our expert on head injuries

yea, that was a respect pick. my last pick in the draft was... (insert insult here.
I don't get it. He was never a star, and only lasted 3 years in the WWE, before injuries derailed him. He's almost certainly the worst pick in this draft.

Would love the Nowinski pick on whoever's roster that had JBL, they could be a great team together. Dnky's roster certainly has a lot of guys good on the mic, so that's a plus.

Wish I could find a video of the Nowinski - Scott Steiner debate on terrorism. So awesome.

Apparently I can't edit my post a few pages back, so I'll repost here. These are the final rosters including the recent trade and all the new picks. This should make it easier for people to copy/paste for judging.

But even if not using Jim as s wrestler, his career will still be only be 3 yes, right?

Are we going to have any official universal format for judging or can I just go ahead and do it however the hell I want as long as I end up with the teams ranked 1-21? I'd like to start on it soon just because it's going to take awhile!

I saw just do it your own way as long as it follows the guidelines set in the main post.

I plan on having a write-up regarding the initial direction I plan on using my guys, are others going to do the same? I'm probably going to have mine up Wed. I'm done with finals after tomorow

im pretty sure that he is currently doing his work in the study of brain injuries. so that is a bit longer than 3 years.

also, it was my last pick. it was 1,000% better than dink. thanks for playing.

haters gonna hate my first and my last pick.

If you're going to pick someone for medical reasons, wouldn't Dr. James Andrews be a better pick?

(Or the Doctor who gave steroids to the WWE, if you want to be cynical).
Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft Quote
12-14-2009 , 04:37 PM
There's this new fad called the Internet, it's pretty useful when researching things like the evolution of brain injury research. Picking someone who happens to know about that sort of stuff is a waste of a pick, really.

People in the NBA drafts always jokingly talked about drafting the Phoenix Suns training staff. This is the equivalent of actually doing it.
Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft Quote

it was my LAST pick in the draft. i could have picked DINK.
Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft Quote
12-14-2009 , 04:39 PM
I wasn't watching during that timeframe but according to his Wiki page, Nowinski was in the WWE for 1 year and retired due to concussion symptoms. So you get him for 1 year.

Still better than Dink though.

But you could have gotten someone who legitimately was a headliner, like Ray "The Crippler" Stevens (to pick a name pseudo-randomly).

You guys should make a separate thread where each of you gets 3 posts to make your case. Then the judges (i said i can be one) can vote or decide

not true here. old school wrestling puts you to sleep. thats why they show old awa on espn classic at 11pm. its like watching paint dry with the limited moveset and bad promos.
