Spoiler:
From Chicago, Illinois. Weighing in at 285 pounds. ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL.

One half of the most legendary tag team of all time will be joining my federation. Although he spent very little time as a singles worker, I am completely prepared to put him into programs against my top heels should someone decide that (LOL) UNDRAFTED is worthy of being a singles wrestler in theirs. Otherwise, I am on my way to creating the best tag team division in this whole damn draft.

The Road Warriors were the most dominant tag team of the 80s, becoming the only team to win all three major tag championships (NWA, AWA, WWF). Animal would go on to win one more tag team championship without his longtime partner in 2005.
I hope I'm using this term right since I've seen it used but have no idea what it means.

I clicked the youtube with my eyes closed and marked out big time.

I'll eventually take Hawk and then simply try to squeeze trade value out of him. Or, try to trade for Animal.

Even if you can't trade him, I'm pretty sure there are a ton of guys who can do well teaming up with Hawk.

Posturing on both sides, imo.

Seriously, I'm annoyed I missed my guy in this round. I had Hawk targeted for my 5th round pick since early in the draft.

Hawk was the one who yelled "What a Rush", which is important imo. He was also ranked higher on the PWI "Top 500 of the PWI era". I might take him btw.

I'm here, I'm here! I know that it's tough when I hold up the draft by taking a nap when there were still 4 people ahead of me though, I apologize for that. Anyway, I really had to rush the writeup on Sandman since i was afraid that someone else could pick him ahead of me if I did a full one so I'm going to do a little better one on this pick. I think it's a huge face-melter and one that I actually probably like better than Sandman if it wasn't for the fact that I felt like I really needed another main eventer in the 4th round just to make the feud possibilities work out at the top.

With the 90th overall pick (6th pick of the 5th round), iggymcfly selects:

Spoiler:

I think it's kind of easy to underestimate the drawing power of the women, but considering the target audience for most pro wrestling shows (12-25 year old males), they're actually very valuable. I remember hearing that at least on TNA, the women would consistently draw better quarter hour ratings than the main eventers. Trish Stratus was a huge draw and was consistently one of the most over wrestlers during the biggest era in wrestling history. You'll definitely get people tuning in just to see her segments.

From a versatility standpoint, she can really do it all. In-ring, she's carried tons of mediocre wrestlers to better matches than most of the guys were capable of having, her selling/ring psychology's great, and she's got a pretty varied moveset. On the other hand, she's also a pretty damn good actress and can do a great job of selling angles where she doesn't wrestle at all. She's also incredibly sexy, both with her looks, and with her mannerisms when she wants to ramp up the T&A. And beyond everything she does on-screen, she's also be huge for marketing as she can make posters/calendars/videos fly off the shelves in a way that few others can approach. Overall, she will be a huge asset to the company.

Career highlights:

- Pro Wrestling Illustrated
* PWI Woman of the Year (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006)

- World Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Entertainment
* WWE Hardcore Championship (1 time)
* WWF/E Women's Championship (7 times)
* Babe of the Year (2001–2003)
* Diva of the Decade (2003)

Roster so far:
Rob Van Dam
John Cena
Bob Backlund
Sandman
Trish Stratus

Oh, and I never really liked the Lil' Kim theme at all so that's why I went with the old one.

Professional Wrestling Promotion Draft Quote

Trish is certainly the best female pick, she's fine value.

WRT to other picks
John Morrison is a great pick, awesome on the mic as a heel or face, great body, great in ring ability he should be one of the top guys pretty soon.

Shelton Benjamin is also fine, he's been horribly misused and is certainly one of the best in ring worker in the WWE right now. If Vince pushed him he could be great.

Big Show is incredible value, almost the steal of the draft. Smarks might not like him, but you really underestimate the drawing power of someone that big. He has been a top guy for over 10 years and has had almost no problems outside of the ring. He is frequently on major news networks representing the WWE, because he's well spoken and makes the company look good to the general public. He wasn't just picked to fight Mayweather at wrestlemania because he's big, he was picked because that match would get the most media attention and Vince trusted him to handle it well. Hating on that pick is crazy.

Have to say I actually really like the Trish pick here. Initially I thought this draft didn't have sufficent rounds to consider the women until very late on, but I've changed my mind. I think you nailed it in the writeup about her ability to work it both in and out of the ring. She's been involved in some of the best womens feuds of all time, if not THE best with UNDRAFTED, is a more than competent wrestler, has had some very memorable diva moments, is massively over with the fans and will sell a ton of merchandise.

Trish made womens wrestling watchable and is the clear #1 imo.
