Personally I have nothing wrong with HHH. It almost seems we're at the tier-2 level now (maybe 1 or 2 left) and HHH is very high up on tier 2.

I'll defend him if I have to, but I don't really feel like I should have to, he's a bigger draw then anyone over the last 7 or so years, and any company that has HHH will have instant credibility with the casual fan....I was almost tempted to take Jericho because I love him, but I felt HHH is a bigger draw....considered some older guys to, but decided to go with a guy whose career I have followed from the start.

More people need to post in the fashion of Dynasty, with the wrestler hidden and the theme not specified but outside of the spoiler. Then I can open it in another tab without looking and be surprised by music, which is infinitely better than reading it. When the Angle theme hit, it was just like watching a real show.

Also, I think there's kind of a natural bias against guys who are still wrestling but toward the end of the careers since you're more likely to think of them as they are now whereas with the older guys, you'll remember them from their prime. HHH was as good as anyone in the ring, on the mic, and in terms of drawing power in 2001 right before the quad tear. He's a fine pick.

When I heard "One, two, is this on?" I marked so haaaaaaard. God wrestling used to be ***** awesome.

And they booked the interruption incredibly well. You could hear the crowd start to get restless when the Priest asked for speak now, etc., expecting something to happen. Instead of doing it at the most obv. point, they let the Priest get towards the next line before BOOMing it.

What are we using as a metric for top? I mean, HHH trails a lot of guys but he's put in some goddamned good to great matches. He's very, very solid and probably right on the edge of being a "top in-ring performer".
