A TON of people did not like Hogan even during his peak. He was never my favorite but he was booked perfectly for what Vince wanted.

That being said he should be taken over HBK and probably over Rock although SCSA going #1 is totally fine by me as I will forever be a massive SCSA mark.

The HBK promo with the fake Bret entrance and his Summerfest match vs Hogan are two of my all-time favorite HBK moments.

Hogan was a very bad wrestler and not very slick on the mic. I guess the only thing he's got going for him is longevity.

I don't care what you think for the purposes of this draft, there's a million different ways to go about building. But, a lot of people are just expressing hate for Hogan which is mind-boggling to me.

I so agree. I was never into it, got into it at said timeframe and then went on to lose it.

Hogan is the most popular wrestler of all time... tough to feel bad about having him.

Russ, I have no chance in getting who you mentioned but names! Undrafted names!

I would have taken The Rock #1, my favourite wrestler ever

I think the fact that at least half of the drafters are saying a easy Hogan #1 and outsiders are coming in going like "WHAT?" shows that Hogan should be number one. Regardless of what happened in Hogan Knows Best and how terrible that show is, most people think fake-wrestling. Hulkster.

That being said too though, nothing has been a spew except for the fact that he hasn't gone it. All three picks still have been great picks anyways. Considering I had

1. Hogan
2. xxx
3. Stone Cold
4. The Rock
5. xxx
6. HBK

and I'm pretty sure 1+2 will go very soon.

And no picks overnight? Buzzkill.

Alternatively If the commish wants a reserve for anyone who dissapears I'd be happy to do that as well.

Edit: I have 3 undrafteds I'd definitely put above Hogan and about 4 more I would see no problem with them going ahead of him.

Just saw this in the OP, why is this a 30-year league? Most wrestlers only been around for ~10years if not less.

I dont see what happens in 15 years.

I wouldn't really focus on the 30 year thing so much. As long as people realize it's a career draft.

He was almost never willing to lose. "Willingness to lose" is a really valuable trait in pro wrestling.

Also, the 1997-2003 sentiment makes me sad. Wrestling was awesome in the early 90s, just for different reasons. I probably prefer it, which might be a little bit of nostalgia, but I love that period.

Yeah I go back a little earlier than 1997. That's when it was really fun though. The Monday Night Wars were the best.

The Monday Night Wars were definitely fun. I preferred WWF, but I went to a WCW event at the Palace when Sting was coming from the rafters. Sadly, I think that event was less rigged than some Pistons games I've seen there.

Can't believe I missed this. I agree with Austin/Rock as 1/2 (may have reversed the order though.) HBK is a little too high. Even though he was my favorite wrestler, he quite simply, never made as much money as others available in this draft.

Ask a random dude on the street to name the best pro wrestler of all time and Hogan is clearly the most frequent answer.

Jack Bando is officially on the clock (did anyone PM him btw?). He has eight hours.

With the third pick, Bando Wrestling Association chooses...

Spoiler:
The 4 time PWI Wrestler of the year,3 time PWI popular wrestler of the year, 2 time #1 PWI in their top 500 of 97 and 2003, 6 time WWE Champion with the second most days as champion, 6 time WCW champion with the most days as champion, 2 time WWF Royal Rumble winner, WWE Hall of Fame class of 2005, and 6 time WON's Most Charismatic Wrestler. His list of defeated foes, also impressive. Piper, Paul Orndorff, Bundy,Andre,Savage,Dibiase, Zeus,Earthquake, Slaughter, Sid Vicious, Yokozuna, Sting, HHH, Vince, Orton, HBK, and countless more. My pick is...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2slTwRe4ATc

"First off brother, I'd like to thank Jack Bando for giving me the chance to take BWA global, just like I did with the WWF, WCW, and TNA (coming soon)

Next I'd like to remind the little Hulkamaniacs out there to train hard, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, and always believe in yourselves, brothers.

Now that all of that's out of the way, I'd like to take a moment to send well wishes to DetlefSchrempf,SarcasticRat, and MrOnizuka cause by passing up on The Immortal they're clearly ill.

Detlef signs a guy who rode on my coattails all these years, brother, claiming he's a superstar when I invited the title. The only thing Stone Cold about Austin is his heart since he won't get in the ring and face me.

Next we got a guy who signed the Rock, a guy I taught everything he knows about being a superstar back in Toronto, brother.

Then you got HBK who lost his smile once 1997 and another time in 2005 when I beat him 1,2,3 in the middle of the ring just like I beat countless other guys claiming to be icons."

Draft's over, I clearly win.

Spoiler:
Brother
