Crazy day. God I hate idiotic fans. The last crash was horrible and in high speed.

Porte lost more than 2 mins, not sure about other favorites, Froome also looked badly hurt, although he seems to have been back on the bike.

Great win for Alaphilippe, a bold attack that paid off, ASO got what they wanted.

Sucks for Porte. Would have liked to see him emerge as the Ineos contender, but that seems impossible now. Will probably have to pull hard for Thomas and Carapaz just for them to get lit up by Roglic/Pogacar at the crucial moments.

Although I'd like to think after last year when he lost 2 mins on stage 7 in the cross winds there is still a chance that he can be a contender. I still think overall across the 3 weeks that Porte would still come out on top versus his team-mates by 2 to 3 mins but it is whether the team can see it too that's the issue.

NBC coverage of this in the US is the worst. Paused the DVR for 18 minutes. In those 18 minutes 15 minutes of commercials rider interviews a fly over of a windmill and 3 minutes of racing. 30 seconds before the sprint. 2.5 minutes after and then off to another commercial

Just retire Thomas and let Carapaz and Porte ride for themselves with little to no team support.

I love the Aussie commentators just giving it to Thomas saying that he is prone to crash with his riding style.

That is the worse too to have fallen and then riding in the rain.
