Here's the rest of the slate:

Thursday, Oct 14, 2021 - NCAA Football Game
7:30 PM Georgia Southern 3
South Alabama -3

7:30 PM Navy +10½
Memphis -10½

Friday, Oct 15, 2021 - NCAA Football Game
7:00 PM Clemson -14
Syracuse 14

Cuse hung tough in losses to FSU and Wake. Will be a good barometer to see if Clemson has fixed any of their issues

7:00 PM Marshall -11
North Texas 11

10:30 PM San Diego State -9
San Jose State 9

10:30 PM California +13½
Oregon -13½

Oregon is getting decimated by injuries, and was missing their OC in that fluke loss to Stanford where they were > 99% to win on two separate occasions. We suck this year, so should be a nice bounce back game for the ducks.

Saturday, Oct 16, 2021 - NCAA Football Game
12:00 PM Michigan State -5
Indiana 5

12:00 PM Ohio 9
Buffalo -9

12:00 PM Tulsa -8½
South Florida +8½

12:00 PM Nebraska -4
Minnesota 4

12:00 PM Central Florida +20½
Cincinnati -20½

The UCF QB is injured, but this is still a big number, implying that Cincy is truly regarded as a top-5 team. Remember, UCF beat Boise in week 1 and barely lost to Louisville, so they're the equivalent of a ~35-40th percentile P5 team.

12:00 PM Rutgers -2
Northwestern 2

12:00 PM Texas A&M -8½
Missouri +8½

12:00 PM Oklahoma State +5½
Texas -5½

Ok State, Texas, ISU and maybe Baylor and TCU are in a race for the #2 spot in the Big-12

12:00 PM Florida -10½
LSU +10½

Ed O's seat is getting hot at louisville, while Florida got a nice Vandy vacation last week.

12:00 PM Auburn +3½
Arkansas -3½

Arkansas has lost 2 in a row, while Auburn has lost 2 of 4 and been all over the map, nearly losing to Georgia State, then beating LSU on the road, then getting slowly suffocated by UGA. The winner gets to take a deep breath, while the loser is back in the danger zone.

12:30 PM Duke 11
Virginia -11

2:00 PM Ball State -1½
Eastern Michigan +1½

2:30 PM Akron +19½
Miami Ohio -19½

3:00 PM Troy -7½
Texas State +7½

3:30 PM Bowling Green 9
Northern Illinois -9

3:30 PM Miami Florida 7
North Carolina -7

This was the preseason GOTY in the hotly contested ACC-not-clemson-division, but since then UNC has started 2-3 in conference, while Miami is 0-1 and a touchdown underdog here.

3:30 PM Pittsburgh -4½
Virginia Tech +4½

Both teams are 1-0 in the ACC-not-clemson-divisoin (which is wild, since UNC's already played 5 games) and are the two front runners. VT has the advantage of having already beaten UNC, while Pitt has the advantage of apparently being pretty good.

3:30 PM Arizona +6½
Colorado -6½

3:30 PM Fresno State -3
Wyoming 3

3:30 PM BYU 6
Baylor -6

BYU's sun-running finally came to an end against Boise, but they can still have a very nice season. Baylor can pick up a rare marquee noncon win here, but their back half is brutal.

3:30 PM Toledo -4½
Central Michigan +4½

3:30 PM UAB -16
Southern Miss 16

3:30 PM Purdue 12
Iowa -12

3:30 PM Kent State +6½
Western Michigan -6½

3:30 PM Western Kentucky -12½
Old Dominion +12½

3:30 PM Kentucky +22½
Georgia -22½

Undefeated Kentucky is the latest team to get a crack at the Georgia Juggernaut

4:00 PM Texas Tech -16½
Kansas +16½

4:00 PM Vanderbilt 18
South Carolina -18

6:00 PM Rice +18½
UTSA -18½

7:00 PM Colorado State -11
New Mexico 11

7:00 PM Liberty -32½
UL Monroe +32½

7:00 PM Alabama -17
Mississippi State 17

I assume bama will just roll in this one, fueled by Saban's fire of a thousand suns, but if they've had one weakness this year, it's been their secondary, and the Pirate might be able to make things a little spicy

7:00 PM Utah State -7
UNLV 7

7:30 PM NC State -3
Boston College 3

I mean, both are one loss teams, and the winner is the #3 favorite to win the Acc-clemson-division

7:30 PM TCU +13½
Oklahoma -13½

Don't sleep on TCU! They lost 2 early, but have a lot of NFL talent. Might catch OU in a hangover after that wild red river shootout

7:30 PM Mississippi -3
Tennessee 3

Tennessee very quietly looks competent on offense this year? LANE train chugs along, this could be a fun one

7:30 PM Iowa State -6½
Kansas State +6½

7:30 PM Stanford -1½
Washington State +1½

8:00 PM Army 14
Wisconsin -14

8:30 PM UCLA +1½
Washington -1½

UCLA needs to win to stay in the Pac-12 hunt. Still not sure what Washington is this year.

9:00 PM Air Force 4
Boise State -4

9:00 PM Louisiana Tech -7
UTEP 7

10:00 PM Arizona State pk
Utah pk

ASU can all but lock up the south with a win. if Utah wins, they can beat UCLA to lock it up, but will re-open the race if they beat ASU and lose to UCLA

10:30 PM Hawaii 14
Nevada -14

More coverage. Nobody cared back in the days. Fat Americans can't vreally fight anymore anyway. It's more like sumo shoving. Some of those fat boys are quick.

An argument over the Alabama vs. Texas A&M game led to a deadly shooting at a Bessemer home.

The game was in its final minutes Saturday night when Bessemer police say two men got into a dispute at a gathering in the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue North.

Lt. Christian Clemons said the argument centered around which team was better. The homeowner asked the two men to leave because they were fighting.

Once outside, shots were fired and one of the men – 27-year-old Kealend Amad Pickens – was struck. The shooting happened before the game actually ended.

Pickens was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:23 a.m. Sunday, becoming Bessemer’s 24th homicide of the year.

The suspect fled before police arrived, but Clemons said they know his identity.

“It’s another case,’’ Clemons said, “of resorting to violence to handle differences.”
Apparently it’s happened 3 times in Bama’s last 5 losses. So, if you beat Bama, you’re pretty much committing murder.

The end of the first half was a freakishly competent display of two coaches making game-theory sound, strategically +EV timeout decisions. Mesmerizing.

Yeah, I remember one a few years ago--pretty sure after the Iron Bowl where people were watching at a house party/gathering. One of them killed another after the game. Assuming a disgruntled AU fan, but don't recall.

It was a Bama fan who shot an Auburn fan after the 2017 iron bowl. I think they lived.

After the 2013 iron bowl a Bama fan killed another Bama fan for “not being upset enough”

Probably judged on a case by case basis and people did their own research.

50+ was slight hyperbole, but I would not want to be Jo'Quavious Marks. Those Tuscaloosa boys don't like Atlanta much and their unhappy after a hard week and a lot of yelling.

Technically we are talking about spontaneous fighting turning into shootings (you know; morons), not dudes shopping for tree killer and driving an hour or so to a public square to “teach them a lesson” about who’s in charge, or something (obvious mental health issue, translated to “butthurt hater can’t stand the thought of us having a good time” down here).

We need a 'treeslaughter' law to distinguish spontaneous bough breaking from the tree-meditated hate crimes

colorado scored 35 points in their opening game against northern colorado, and has scored a sum total of 34 points in their last four games, while arizona is averaging 17 points a game against some pretty good teams. there's no way in hell colorado is going to score over 20, and arizona will at least in the low to mid teens. i also agree they may just win outright.
i see you can get the o/u anywhere between 45 1/2 to 47 and i'm taking the under all day with my fake money. the money line being around -240/+200 is bonkers for that 6.5 point spread.
