I'm not sure, but when I think back at the Armstrong times, there were always massiv crashes in the first week of the tour. Nearly a tradition.

Today is the most lol stage of the year(all time??) Just 138km, but 54,6km uphill. 4950m high difference. 6 mountains. 4x cat 1, 1 cat 2 and 1 cat ESP( witch is the highest)

And froome already down in the first climb, but is able to come back. Eurosport will show the whole stage. Is already epic, what ever you do, stop it and watch it

Here's the video of when Sagan was taken out (about 40 seconds in):

Re: Pro Cycling 2015 thread: Le Tour, Giro, Vuelta, etc.

When I saw the results for today's stage of the Vuelta, I had to look at the year to make sure it was the 2015 Vuelta I was looking at.

It is. A Schleck won a grand tour stage in 2015. Never would have thought.

Wasn't it Frank? Either way, I still did a double take.

Hopefully Dumoulin or Purito can win it. **** Astana.

Yeah it was Frank Schleck. I meant "a Schleck" as in "one of the Schlecks," but I can see how it looks like I meant "A. Schleck." AFAIK, Andy Schleck retired, even though he's younger than Froome and Nibali.

I hate Astana as much as most normal people. But the evidence against Aru seems pretty weak.

You see his teammate reach out, then the camera switches and you can't see anything.

That can't be enough to prove a slingshot, can it?

Cav crashed out of the Tour of Britain the same day he's announced as part of World Championship team. So far, I haven't seen anything confirming his presence at Richmond or not.

Sky look like they are going to reload pretty well this off season with Kwiatkowski and Landa supposedly joining them

I guess kwiatoswki wanted to learn how to climb a mountain and how to last more than 1 week in a tour

I missed yesterday's stage. I assume Aru jumped in the back of a team car for about 50k and sneaked out near the finish?

Re: Pro Cycling 2015 thread: Le Tour, Giro, Vuelta, etc.

Didn't expect the peloton to be so intact this late.

I'll go with Degenkolb as my prediction with 9 km to go.

BTW, cyclinghub.tv/********** for a Live Stream.

EDIT: The word live stream is censored, but that's what's in asterisks.

Also, this race is ridiculously long.

Didn't see a Sagan breakaway happening. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Super happy with the two World Champions this weekend.

Two nailbiting finishes also.

Well done Richmond.
