Not necessary saying there needs to be more sprint stages as such, but the this year a lot of the sprint stages seem to have had something extra in them. Days following the coast with crosswinds, cobbles, short climbs or slight uphill sprints. The sprinters still win stages but rarely with a traditional leadout and usually with some rivals missing.

Yeah, not really sure what happened there. You don't think team Sky PR and approach to the sport has annoyed a lot of the traditional fans?
