This reminds me of how in baseball, when somebody gets a hit and runs are scoring, often an exciting hit to the gap or to the corner, and instead of getting to watch the fielders hustle it down and make the relay throws they keep cutting to the baserunners crossing the plate.....I mean, sometimes watching the runner round 2nd or 3rd (preferrably just by zooing out) is nice to get some timing details, but to cut to the runners as they cross the plate, and thus causing us to miss the actual play in the field, is incredibly annoying. I hate that, in golf, they always show the ball in the air. It's a useless view. Also hate the NFL films when they do the slow motion of the pass flying through the air.
In soccer, there'll be an incredible pass to set up a goal. But when they show replays, the only show the goal, and not the pass that set up the goal.
