So as long as the Eagles get the greatest defense of all time for several straight years don't worry about replacing your terrible quarterback

This is an incredibly common belief system in all sports. E.g., Cubs suck because they haven't won a World Series in 107 years or all Cleveland teams suck because no team has won anything in 50 years.

I especially hate this in college sports, "this team hasn't beat the other one in 23 years." So what, no one on either team was alive 23 years ago.

I dont watch it but turned on espn to check the guide to see who was playing mnf tonight.

At least the other guy goes nobody on this team played on that Super Bowl team and also added that the Bengals have also been to a Superbowl and wilbon yells "that was 25 years ago!" Just lol

I know, right?

When explaining why Dalton is #3 for his 231-1-2 game (including an atrocious pick from inside the Pitt 10 down 3 points in the 4th quarter) over Brady's 354-4-0 it was something like "yes he made several mistakes, but when it was time to make the big throw, he got it done." Which was a 6-yard slant to a wide open AJG.

And when they got the ball back in Pitt territory, instead of trying to put the game away, they ran Hill into the line three straight times and left Rape with two minutes and a timeout for a game-winning drive. Definitely a legit third best QB performance of the week.
