A non-top 20 player at any position 2 years into the league isn't going to get a first, though if any would it would be Tebow. NFL uses 1st round picks for spiking franchise players, you're not going to see many teams give up that for a project, which is stupid because that's what Tebow was all along. You don't give up on a guy whose ceiling is top 3 QB in the league, and if you do it's ****ing stupid. I doubt Elway give two ****s about dip****s wanting Tebow over Manning to start. If they can get a first from Jacksonville or equally ****ty team likely to pick top-15 for Tebow, sure go ahead. But bad value otherwise. League is all about spiking top 10 QBs (Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Rapesburger, Eli, Warner), otherwise you aren't going anywhere unless you have elite D(Ravens, Bears).
Straight up trade for Mallet is dumb as well, if NE wants to make that trade, you don't want it.
