this kills so much of the rest of the AFC west teams' chances of playoffs if he doesn't get hurt I would think...I would have been ridiculously happy if the chiefs had gotten him I'm not going to rain on the broncos parade

I get the feeling every team in the division will still have fanbases that think they can legitimately win the west this year though

Peyton is one of the only players I would legitimately be upset if he got injured regardless of the team. Just a good dude.

Also "putting fans in seats" is a pretty poor barometer for Denver success.. they've sold out games longer than a lot of people in this thread have been alive.

You're confusing who Elway should be loyal to. He should be loyal to Bowlen and the fans. That is where his loyalty should lie. He is responsible to try to create a winner.

I know this. It just points out how much of a @#!$ Elway is for not buying in. I've already stated it is better for Tebow this way, at least he gets to go somewhere he is wanted. Which is pretty ridiculous after what he did for Denver this year.

I think he deserved to have that chance. He deserved to have the support from management. And, we will never know what could have been.
