this kills so much of the rest of the AFC west teams' chances of playoffs if he doesn't get hurt I would think...I would have been ridiculously happy if the chiefs had gotten him I'm not going to rain on the broncos parade

I get the feeling every team in the division will still have fanbases that think they can legitimately win the west this year though

Peyton is one of the only players I would legitimately be upset if he got injured regardless of the team. Just a good dude.

So !@#$ loyalty I see... he obviously never liked Tebow.

It's better for Tebow this way anyway at least he'll get someone that wants him.

And, you addressed nothing I said that is damaging to your argument. Tebow is a business. Tebow wins games... has won games.. has won in the playoffs. And, Tebow got screwed.

If you never support the guy and get 100% behind him to see if he can develop... I mean !@#$ the guy has to win the Superbowl in his 1st season just to keep his job. It's pretty unbelievable.

He doesn't owe Tebow anything to be loyal. His job, as the leader of this business, is to do whatever he can do to win the most games. He needs to put himself in a position where he has the most equity for success. This move CLEARLY increases Denver's equity today and moving forward. That is what he owes. He owes Mr. Bowlen, the man who signs his check, to do what he can to make this team a winner.

Something tells me you're just sad lolchargers are no longer the AFCW favorites.

What loyalty? Elway had nothing to do with Tebow coming to Denver in the first place.

Also "putting fans in seats" is a pretty poor barometer for Denver success.. they've sold out games longer than a lot of people in this thread have been alive.

Like I already said before this division is no pushover. You don't get the Jags twice, with what the Texans used to be, and what the Titans are now.

You're confusing who Elway should be loyal to. He should be loyal to Bowlen and the fans. That is where his loyalty should lie. He is responsible to try to create a winner.

Chargers fan not happy with the Broncos decision to go from Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning. Strange.

You think they'd be happy since the Broncos are so likely to decline now without Tebow putting those butts in the seats.

I know this. It just points out how much of a @#!$ Elway is for not buying in. I've already stated it is better for Tebow this way, at least he gets to go somewhere he is wanted. Which is pretty ridiculous after what he did for Denver this year.

Do you believe that keeping Tebow gives the Broncos the best chance at winning games?

I know it's wrong but I just can't help myself:

Why should Elway "buy in" to Tim Tebow?

Really has nothing to do with my fanhood. But, I do despise everything about the Broncos and the entire Broncos organization... have for a long time.

I do think the lack of a dome and the possibility of denver/kansas city snow and cold will hurt his numbers somewhat

So, you would have hated them had they stuck with Tebow?

I think he deserved to have that chance. He deserved to have the support from management. And, we will never know what could have been.

I don't know where your going with this... trying to bait me into Tebow > Peyton isn't going to happen.
