rice is the GOAT cuz of longevity, dude was so good for so long, but moss could have been and should have been teh GOAT. moss's best years are arguably better than rice's. if he weren't such a complacent WIL temperamental bitch for so long he shatters rice

So Cardinals go from being a top contender for Manning to seeing him go to someone in the NFC West, the team that crushed the division last year without a real QB and having to face him twice a year?

But actually I'm kinda glad, even given all that... paying $60M for anybody is just LOL, even if it was for Jim Brown in his prime. We'd be better off paying $25M for 5 new O-linemen than $60M for one old, damaged QB anyway (said the Fox to the Grapes LOL). Even Kevin (Corn On The) Kolb could look good behind a quality line that gives him 5 seconds to throw without fail.

i don't think any of those teams thought smith was actually free. it's been reported more than once that smith and the niners were about to sign a 3-year deal, the whole manning thing really came out of left field

Even though I'm a Giants fan and it would likely kill their chances of repeating, I'm praying he goes to the 49ers just so the camera-hogging, annoying Elway and his sht-eating grin gets the shaft and has to deal with Tebow-time again.
