Sure Manning to Miami makes them challengers to the Pats, but are people forgetting the pats back 7 last year was mostly made up of practice team players. If u going to take Miami getting better with manning into account. You surely have to take into account the possibility of the pats D improving also.

If pats D stays the same and Manning is his old self throwing to Marshall and Wayne then he prob will torch them

I feel like a lot of people just don't realize how much Miami improved over the course of the season last year. They were clearly one of the Top 10 teams in the league at the end of the season.

Obviously Houston would be sick with peyton and by far the best team on paper but are they really even interested in him? I have mostly been on the major sports sites only so grain of salt and all but I never see them listed with the interested teams

Schaub is effectively in his prime and was probably top 5 last year in terms of effectiveness (rate). Why would you replace him with someone far more expensive with huge question marks?

Should they also trade Foster for Peterson?

As as Texans fan, I would MUCH rather have a healthy Manning next year than Matt Schaub.

Without Manning, the Texans should be super next year and that's great and all but :SJFSJFS with Manning healthy god damn it's a steamroll to a 'ship.

That's why they would be interested in Manning. They also will likely be selecting a WR in the (late) first round this year, and if they were to trade Schaub they would get a pretty good deal for him methinks.
