ESPN announced Texans were a darkhorse canidate. With a healthy Manning they would emerge as the favorite to win SB next season

This opens up a ton of great Kubiak-related possibilities.

Texans make so much sense.

-Great defense
-Great running game
-Andre Johnson
-AFC South so he gets to stick it to Irsay 2x a year
-AFC so he gets to play ELIte in the next 3 Super Bowls

Manning on Houston would be a ****ing cakewalk to a rang. What's the lowest he can sign for, veteran minimum?

I mean if he wants a rang they are in the best spot. Super easy division, dome, elite D, elite run game, weaponz (AJ, Daniels), great blocking line.

As a skins fan would love to see them go after Manning but I just don't see it. He is not going to want to play his brother twice a year. Plus the Skins offense really has nothing.

Schaub would look pretty sexy in Arizona. We've seen what he can do with Andre Johnson (2x 1,500 yards) and he'd get a younger version in Fitz.

Fitz isnt as explosive as AJ. Less injury prone and a better route runner though.

Blah blah blah. Peyton doesn't give a **** about most of these things. He wants to find a good team, he's comfortable on, who has a chance to be good. That's it. He doesn't care about Brady, or his brother, or which division he's in. He thinks he's awesome, because he was awesome, and thinks he'll be awesome again. He's not intimidated by one team in a division having a certain QB or whatever else riff raff people want to talk about.

I think it would be a huge mistake to dump ALex Smith. After hes seemingly turned the corner. Im expecting a breakout season from him next year.

Things I think Peyton actually cares about:

#1. Having a reasonably good team, with offensive weapons. Or the cap space to get some.

#2. Having a coaching situation that he respects at bare minimum, with an offensive setup that makes reasonable sense for him.

#3. Probably doesn't want to go to a cold weather team without a dome.

Why do people keep saying Peyton doesn't want to go to this or that when he hasn't opened his mouth once about going anywhere else? People just assume he wants as similar to his Indy situation as possible? Not a crazy assumption, but still. Who the hell knows what he is looking for at this point.
