As is, Moss is prolly 2nd GOAT, but he finished 2nd in the '73 Belmont Stakes. I hadn't looked at the career receiving & TDs lists for awhile; Rice is just absurd.

There is not a single HOF coach, QB or GM who ever lived who would take Moss over Rice, or would spend more than ten seconds thinking about it, and I'm a pretty big Moss fan.

As for Peyton, at least Niners did their due diligence. If he signs he signs, if not, Alex can't have ruffled panties over it, I'm sure he'll re-sign.

I'm biased, but imo the main reason Peyton has Denver in the final three is out of respect for Elway, and Tennessee is of course located in Tennessee. Can't imagine that Archie & Eli wouldn't tell him SF makes the most sense SB-wise if asked.

When player 1) has career stats of 1,549/22,895/197 rec/yards/TD and player 2) has career stats of 954/14,858/153 (that's 65% of Rice's total yardage, btw) you can't argue player 2) would have been better if he worked a little harder or was a little less crazy.

The difference between Calvin Johnson's receiving yardage and Antonio Brown/Vincent Jackson/A.J. Green/Nate Washington was ~65% last year for comparison.

sadly I picked up randy for my ffb team 2 years ago after he went to TEN... his problem there, aside from motivation, was that 2 guys could easily cover him, with one on him and one over the top.

Moss is probably the most talented WR OAT, but Jerry Rice is far and away the best actually able to perform results based GOAT AINEC.
