9ers are right now 18 under per our message board. obviously we could do little else in FA and would have to play kilgore or something at starting guard. this year we don't have a top pick so we shouldn't get killed by draft picks but we probably have 13 to currently play with, with respect to manning. obviously a little low, but we could backend him well.

2014 cap will be very high. Just structure so Manning gets a lot of money than. Alsp if Goldson signs longterm his cap number could open up ~$2M in cap. Also cpuld cut Parys Haralson and open ~$2M there.

Because people said moss was finished in oakland the year before he went to the patriots. Moss has shown that when he stops caring he just doesnt even make an effort.

While there is a chance moss wont have an impact, I want to see it myself before i make a judgement.

-Manning ultimately signs with the Broncos/Titans.
-Alex Smith gets pissed off at the 49ers for keeping him on hold in pursuit of Manning and doesn't sign there
-49ers have to scramble to find an actual starting QB for 2012 Season

That would probably be slightly more fun than watching Manning to Moss anyway..

Even just the threat of a deep pass to Moss, is a sick weapon for Peyton Manning to have in his arsenal.
