no disrespect to prime Marvin but he never had to play with Max Hall, Derek Anderson, Rich Bartel, John Skelton, and Kevin Kolb as his QB.

NFL sources tell me that the Titans are preparing for a Peyton Manning visit in the next day or two...

Trading Jake Locker? or gonna have him holding a clip board for 2 or 3 more years?

signing Peyton and trading Locker to the Seahawks works for me imo.

You guys are vastly underrating how good Marvin Harrison was at his peak.

His '99 and '02 seasons dwarf anything Fitzgerald has put up and both came during the pre-MVP Peyton era, and before the NFL cracked down on illegal contact.

Too many arrows imo for warner.

Seems like Broncos are a near lock at this point. Unless, he has known all along that he wants to go to the Dolphins and he is just slow rolling..seems unlikely.

I kinda thought Titans would be a serious contender so maybe they can river the Broncos, that is, if he actually visits them.

I can't see the appeal of the Titans here. Why would Peyton want to have to deal with Britt and a running back who is far more interested in his own stats rather than learning to pick up blitzers? Not to mention the craziness of Bud Adams.

Everything about how Peyton has handled this makes it clear that he has learned from Favre's experiences.

I don't think he'd go anywhere within the AFC South. It just isn't worth the PR drama.

Miami newspaper reporter claiming that Peyton will visit the Texans. Pretty surprised about that one.

All good points about Titans...I just thought of it as a homecoming of sorts.

ESPN just reported he'll visit Titans and Miami officially.

I think people forget just how good starvin Marvin was too. Both very good WR's, both entirely different types of WR. What Fitz does is impressive considering he's THE guy in AZ. I mean we're splitting hairs.. 2 of the best to ever play the position.

1 thing you can't do though is punish Marvin for having Peyton.

I'd like to see Peyton go to AZ. I think that is the best fitz for him

Marvin's a better shot than Fitz though

I don't think so. I actually think Elway and company wouldn't need to get that much for Tebow as he's not a player that Elway really wants in my view.

Depends on what the Texans could get for Schaub I would think. According to NFL radio the Texans weren't that interested as a long time beat writer in Houston (forget his name), that supposedly is well connected, said Texans aren't interested. I guess Schaub has a pretty low cap number for a QB so that would factor into it. I do think the Texans and Manning would be a decent fit though. Of course I thought the same about the Chiefs and Manning.

I would at least ask for Gabbert + Jax's 2nd for Tebow. Hope Gabbert learns enough that someone feels he's the guy like teams did with Kolb, Cassell, and Flynn so you can deal him for better value than what you got him for. Tebow might be worth more to Jax than anyone else so obviously start at a higher #. They could go oakland and offer 2 first round picks including this year's. Worth asking for sure.
