Yeah, seemed like ****ty timing on those suspensions.

Tebow looking over Denver as if he is okay w/ Peyton coming...the last 2 days have been the nicest weather we have had since October.

AZ was a top 10 team last year. Would suck big times for SF fans if he went there.

SF's bigger concern should be regression to the mean.

Although they did lose to a John Skelton-led Cardinals late last year. So there's that.

A lot of articles I read also think the Cardinals, Seahawks and Chiefs are better teams/ have fewer holes than Miami.
At this point in his career Peyton doesn't give a **** about pressure. The dude just wants to rack up some stats, win some superbowls, and put the finishing touches on his legacy. The idea that he would forgo a better situation (wrt winning superbowls) because of "pressure" is insane. Especially for Peyton.

I didn't know whether SF is pursuing him or not, but you're probably right about that. Any idea why they aren't? Not enough cap room? Or do they just not believe that he's healthy enough.

AZ was def top 10 you donks. Even if you clowns glanced at their week by week results they're easily top 15.

SF isn't pursueing Peyton (I don't agree with but w/e). Harbaugh and front desk said multiple times after season ended that they're not messing with the squad. Keeping everyone together. A QB change, even if bringing in the goat, would throw all the team unity talk out the window.

It sucks a lot not snagging goat, but I understand and trust harbaughs (so far very successful) direction.

AZ top 10 last year? That's toward the top of their range. Between 10 and 15 is more accurate. AZ would be an awesome fit for Manning though imo. They've got a nice WR core that can get the job done. Wells and Ryan Williams VT RB should be returning this year after injury. Draft, sure up the O-line and take 1 WR that will be good for Manning. The rest go defense.

AZ and Miami clearly 2 best options imo.

does "def" mean defense or definitely?

Peyton with wells and Heap is terrifying though, imagine what he'd do with 28 other teams rosters

That's a lot of trust in Harbaugh. He's only had one season in the NFL. Too early to tell how much was skill and how much was luck. If I were them, and I were confident Peyton were healthy, I'd do what I could to sign him, despite any detriment to team unity. However, since that's up in the air, I think their approach is not unreasonable. Time will tell if they are correct.

Time will not tell. I don't care how good your team is if you can replace any starter no matter how good and get at least a 2 win upgrade you do it. This can probably only happen by signing an elite Qb but here's the chance. SF should throw the sink at Peyton.

People underestimate roster turnover in the NFL. Only 2 starters for the Super Bowl Cardinals OL were starters last year: Sendlein (decent Center) and Levi Brown (terrible LT).

The Manning scenario in Denver is eerily reminiscent of the Vikings courting Favre. 2 players fighting suspension, having a plane pick him up and replacing a sub par QB and a team feeling they are close to being a SB caliber team.

I really believe his best fit is AZ at the moment and it wouldn't surprise me if Saturday and one other former Colt sign with them too.
