Me too and that Miami does everything they can to trade up for him. I'd hate to see PM in Miami, 36 yo, no thanks.

nah, they should've done everything in their power to let him retire as a colt. he's bigger than the whole franchise, and should've been treated as such.

Please- nostalgia is for quilts. You don't handicap your team just for happy memories. (and depending on how you think about the Colt's history- there's arguably another player who is the franchise).

You can scratch the Vikings off the list. Youth movement and they went through that dog and pony show 2 years ago.

Going to the Dolphins is a good idea if he wants to die. Didn't they give up the most sacks in the NFL last season?

ZOMG Texans would be amazing.

Will probably be Miami or Washington, bleh.

Browns yeah not happening.

AZ probably the best fit.

Whoever it would be should be a reasonable contender and have a serviceable enough QB on the roster, you have to have a backup for Peyton given his situation. Jets aren't going to pay Sanchez $12m to be a backup.

Dolphins seem like a pretty good fit. They had some moments on defense last year and have been investing in their o-line, have Brandon Marshall. Matt Moore is still under contract and cheap, he'd work fine as a #2. Have some cap room to work with. Matt Flynn is probably just as risky.

Then again PM might just hang it up or be unable to play anyway.

Hawks would be a pretty good fit if some of his WR come with as has been suggested. If they don't, I think our WR core is so bad he should avoid us.

honestly i think the niners are probably the favorites. they have a buttload of cap room and limited needs to use it on. of all teh teams in the nfl who could use manning, the niners are the only who you could put manning on and say is the favorite to win the SB for the next 2 years. they'll publicly say they're not interested cuz obv alex smith had a pretty solid rebound year, took them to the NFC championship, why would they possibly hang him out to dry like that?

1. niners
2. jets
3. dolphins

very very little chance he signs with any other team

Jake Long, they drafted a Pouncey, have a couple young guys. And they're probably bringing in more help. They're young but not hopeless, just need a couple more pieces. Like most lines do.
