Look the airplane idea waas/is awesome. If it would have happened it would have been great. But honestly the Penn State people wouldn't have cared less about it. They only thing that group has in its whole world is the legend of JoePa. That is it. You ever been to State College? The grads there are always fighting the Philly schools grads for jobs - and coming in second best. So those things make those cult members grasp on to anything they think is positive. And right now the only positive that group has is to back a child molester and his BFF. When your most recognizable basketball alumni chastises your position in the most eloquent of terms you would think others with the same feelings would come forward as well. But that won't happen. The Kool-Aid is already consumed.

We lacked anyone concrete who was going to put their name on hiring the plane. Without that, the rest would have been wasted effort.
