The "humane" comment in the email has me confused a bit. At first I thought that was related to Jerry. Administration was of course trying to protect the football program.
Now I think in their fake excuses it was more to protect his wife and family. I think that is a more convenient excuse, and more excusable in their minds rather than do the right thing. I'm just trying to understand how they did nothing and justified their non-action (besides $) Poor Dottie was maybe their excuse they used as a reason to not put Jerry in jail 10 years ago. Did not explain that very well as Scotch is flowing.
