I don't normally get into the public outrage game over these high profile trials but I would have been legitimately sick if he had gotten off. It certainly doesn't come close to any kind of justice though considering how many were involved in the cover up and how long it went on for. Hopefully they all sue that place into oblivion now.

Guilty on 45 of the 48 counts. It wasn't a clean sweep for the prosecution, but pretty damn close. As I kept saying over and over, I thought some of the posters ITT were pretty off the rails arguing that he was going to walk (or even get a hung jury) because of some kind "We are...Penn State" sentiment for Sandusky in the area. Save for a couple people at the courthouse and a few isolated people here and there, that was not the public sentiment at all in the area.

Most of the people in the area and most Penn St. people would just as soon Sandusky to take a needle in the arm.

It probably was the sentiment, but even they were smart enough to figure out if there was any chance to save face they needed to get Sandusky and get him good. I'm pretty sure they are still very much HURR DURRRR WE IS PENN STATE HRRRRR FOOBAW
