With murder, there is usually more potent evidence. When you come across a crime like that and tell the police, they can gather actual facts. Now a few months after nothing happened to Sandusky, what can they go on? Words, testimony, stories. I guess the sample size of evidence becomes larger if you begin to interview all the kids he was known to have come in contact with.

If he reports it after others have covered up, in both scenarios (nothing happens to Sandusky or everyone is guilty), I think he's fired. If PSU is found to have covered up, everyone is canned, and the new coach brings in an entire new staff to rid himself of the situation. What then does a 28 yr old GA with no coaching experience turn to in the career path he chose?
