he has a user note from nfl draft time that he was banned for being a massive troll and added no value to the thread. i guess he's just a guy that shows up at big SE events and decides to drop his pants and poop on the bleachers. not happening this weekend, anyway. no real downside given his history

Fair enough. But it's a slippery slope. There's people I'd say should be banned for the same reason, but I also realize a handful of people would disagree with that opinion and I'd prob need a better reason than just personally thinking they suck.

I jus thought in this case it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, and he wasn't trolling or anything. Seen much much much worse in gameday threads, which should have a lower barometer for what's allowed.

yeah, there's definitely some subjectivity. you gotta make a judgment call between whether a guy is an incorrigible troll vs somebody who just has dumb opinions but wants to get better. i think shat got this one right at least.

Buggits30 has made the Sweet Sixteen thread unreadable less than 40 posts in, pretty impressive.

Personally since we're all dying for content around here and C-Vig has done such a good job creating all the OP's with previews for SE, if it were up to me I wouldn't hesitate to banhammer for a post like this:
